The breakout hit 'Sweet Talk' by Kito & Reija Lee enjoyed revered sync from Victoria Secret in 2013, launching Lee's toplining career and leading to credits and collabs with artists such as Zeds Dead, Trinidad James, T.I., 360, Alice Ivy, Shockone, Metrik and many more. If her track record hints at an ability to transcend genres, her new solo project Any Girl only reinforces it.

 

Shifting gears from her long-standing career as an EDM feature vocalist, Any Girl merges Lee’s years of experience in electronic music with her childhood roots in rock, resulting in a modern pop sound that’s almost impossible to pigeonhole, but has been touted as ‘top-tier pop music’ by Triple J’s own Joe Khan, none-the-less.

 

In only 9 months since launching her first independent solo project, Any Girl has already received consistent airplay and multiple premieres on Triple J and Triple J Unearthed; achieved 7 editorial placements across Apple Music & YouTube; spent 4 weeks straight in AMRAP’s Top 10; and played WAMFest alongside Perth’s best upcoming acts.
